Full and oversized silhouettes dominated Damir Doma’s collection, allowing the body to breathe. Doma managed to include a little bit of everything: drapery, fine tailoring, and deconstruction. The color red had an effervescent presence; deep and passionate. It’s not easy to keep such a limited color palette, and seamlessly implant a splash of color. It either works, or ruins the whole thing. The inclusion of red worked in Doma’s favor and gave off a “I know what I’m doing” attitude. It also showed that his designs are strong even outside the realm of black, grey and white.
