Another Magazine SS09 Issue 16 Pure Insanity. One of my favorite editorials in a while. D’habitude, I’m usually not a fan of the actress/model crossover. However, Tilda Swinton was the perfect model for the perfect editorial. What I liked most about the spread, was that even though a big name was used, it was still very much about the garment (as this editorial was meant to highlight pieces from up and coming, young designers). The styling and direction were impeccable. Swinton managed to effortlessly give different poses and shapes while at the same time, giving off a feeling a stasis. There is a paucity among actresses who try to model who can achieve what Swinton did.  The stark white face and hair were appropriate compliments to the ferocity of the garments. She looked amazing, as usual, despite what the provincial, mainstream media says. and, WHY CAN’T I FIND THE NAME OF THE STYLIST??? EDIT: The stylist is Panos Yiapanis, I should have known.
